The Hoard Hunter game system was released earlier today. Even if you are not interested in the technology behind the system, or running your own game - why not pop over and take the chance to win a 2Gb iPod shuffle courtesy of my good self.
I am running the initial Hoard Hunter game to raise money for Oxfam and the Gurkha welfare trust (you may have seen Sponsor me messages littered around this site).
It only costs $5 to claim a sector, which will give you a 1 in 100 chance of winning the iPod (the more sectors you claim, the better your odds). All money raised will directly to charity as the prize is coming directly from me.
You could also think of it as gaining some advertising, as each sector claimed can display your gravatar and will link back to your website.
