Small Property plugin - sneaky look
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
This blog and support forum have been a little bit quiet over the past fortnight as I have been concentrating on the development of our new family of Property and booking management plugins.
I have decided to take a more radical approach with the latest versions and have scrapped a large amount of the existing plugin code. The new approach is based on an MVC model and should get rid of a lot of the complexity caused from developing each area as a separate plugin, and mean the entire system will function within a single, coherent interface.
This also means that a large portion of the code-base (namely the user-interface) is completely platform independent. I already have the currently developed code running on both the WordPress and MODx systems.
Backward compatibility
The database structure for the previous versions of the plugins has been retained, so all new plugins will be able to use the previous versions database and information. This should prevent any problems upgrading.
How are they looking?
Well so far I have been concentrating on the Small Property plugin. I have included some screen shots of the interface below. Once I am nearer completion I plan to upload a screen cast showing the main features and how to use it.

Any word when you might release the Small Property plugin?
or is it going to be rolled-up with StayPress?
I’m quite eager to give it a try.
Thanks,

@Lee Kelleher: Yes, the Small Property plugin initially formed the main code base of the StayPress system. Though most of that code is long gone now they are still, in effect, one and the same.
