Version 1.0 of the Booking manager and Availability calendar plugin can now be downloaded by clicking on the download link on the right hand side of this post, or by clicking here.
Installation and Upgrade instructions can be found on this page.
This new version has been completely redesigned to bring it in line with the interface of our other plugins I will be updating the page linked to above to reflect the changes in interface, so apologies if what you see on your screen doesn’t match the screenshots.
If you would like an example of the management system then have a look at the video cast shown on this post.

Wow. It looks great. This plugin is really coming along. If you are interested, I was going to see if I could maybe get some funding together, if that would help encourage development for MODx. This plugin is just too nice to only exist on one CMS.
P.S. The instructions that the 1.0 release points to are a little outdated, as the new version doesn’t have a Clearskys.net menu anymore. The functionality is now spread out between the main menus of “Write, Manage, and Options.”
Keep up the great work!

Some Question to the Enquiries: If People are booking over the Enquiry-Form and I’ll manage the Enquiries, it isnt’t possible to see the parallel-bookings. For example: If 3 Bookings at Monday, so I don’t see a notice “attention, this day is overbooked!”.
See a Screenshot: http://www.comorea-studios.de/downloads/screen.jpg
Is there a solution for my problem?
Regards Paul

Sorry, the problem is solved:
If I logged in in wordpress and during this time, I’m sending an enquiry and manage this enquiry with the same browser, but over several taps, than the checkup doesn’t work.
Barry do you know, when it’s possible to making enquires not only over days but also over time-slots (e.g. from 09.00 am - 13.00 pm)? Because I need this function and your tool is great!

Hi Paul
At the moment, it doesn’t check for overlapping times at all. It is something that I missed for this release, but I will increase the priority for a 1.1 release of the booking manager and the 1.0 release of the enquiry plugin which should be out soon (I have a couple of small bug fixes I need to roll out as well).

Hi,
Thank you for developing this great tool! It is just what I am looking for.
I do have some questions:
- How fo I add the coding if I have different properties?
- Where do I add new properties?
(Is this a list in admin or somewhere else?)
- Is it possible to make a seperate page with a contactform which holds ALL the properties on my pages? Like e.g. a dropdown or a radiobutton list so people can ask info on more than one property in one form?

Hey! Great software! I just installed it on http://nettkonkurs.web20cafe.com/ (waiting for my domain) and it works like a charm!

Hi;
Thanks for a great and useful tool.
My question is how can have those nice style for the first and last day with the “splitted” booking colour?
April 25th, 2007 at 3:23 pm
To get the split dates (I’ll describe the process here until I get around to updating the instructions on the site):
If using the standard calendar (not the widget), ensure that the new options labelled First Booked Date and Last Booked Date are populated. They should both be the same as the Booked date options, but the class for the First Booked Date should be ‘booked startday’ and Last Booked Date should be ‘booked endday’.
If you are using the widget, this is done automatically for you.
Secondly you need to add the following to either your sites style, or for the widget, in the widget style (if you are using the style section).
td.startday
{
background: #F66 url(wp-content/plugins/clearskys/includes/images/startday.png) no-repeat right top;
}
td.endday
{
background: #F66 url(/wp-content/plugins/clearskys/includes/images/endday.png) no-repeat right top;
}
The path in the url brackets should point to the /wp-content/plugins/clearskys/includes/images directory for your site (this is where the graphics are held for the start and end days.

I am attempting to use the plug-in, but am having difficulties. The public RSS does not display anything, I have tried changing directories etc…but no luck. The private RSS works fine.
Also, is there a way to display all the date and titles into a page as a text listing?

hello,
at first the wordpress plugin is the best tool, I’ve ever seen - realy.
I would like to ask you, whether it is possible for you to change the booking plugin from “dayly-bookings” to bookings based on hours. My wish is to make bookings from e.g. 10:00 to 12:00.
Unfortunately in the moment it is only possible to create bookings for the hole day.
I would pay for this feature a part of the development-costs.

Is it possible to set the calendar to show the bookings from previous months or display more than 6 months?
July 7th, 2008 at 11:56 am
Wow, this looks like we can use this. Unfortunately the download link gives a 404 error. What is the correct link?
Thanks for your work, man!

@Jeroen: Hi, Just to let you know this plugin will be replaced by the new StayPress plugins. All of the existing plugins can be downloaded from the following location:
